Sharing

Share links give others read-only access to your project’s endpoints without needing a mockd account.

From your project’s settings, click Share. This generates a unique link you can send to anyone.

What Shared Users Can Do

  • View all endpoints and their configuration
  • Send test requests to your mock endpoints
  • See endpoint responses

Shared users cannot modify endpoints, rules, or project settings.

  • Regenerate — creates a new link and invalidates the previous one
  • Revoke — disables sharing entirely

Only one share link exists per project at a time.

Anonymous Projects

Section titled “Anonymous Projects”

You can create projects without signing up — mockd gives you a working mock API immediately. When you create an anonymous project, you receive a claim token. Sign up later and use the token to link the project to your account.
