Notifications
The bell in the top bar collects alerts about your projects, so you hear about
a project running out of requests before your mocks start answering 429.
What you’re notified about
Section titled “What you’re notified about”| Alert | When |
|---|---|
| 80% of daily requests | A project has used 80% of its daily request limit. |
| 95% of daily requests | A project has used 95% of its daily request limit. |
| Daily limit reached | The first request past the limit was rejected. Further requests get a 429 until midnight UTC. |
| Rate limited | An endpoint rejected a request for going over its per-minute rate limit. |
Each alert is sent at most once per project per day (UTC), and rate-limit alerts at most once per endpoint per day. A busy project won’t flood the bell. If the limit changes during the day, for example after a plan upgrade or an edit to an endpoint’s rate limit, the alerts fire again at the new limit.
Daily limits are per project and depend on your plan. See Plans. A project’s page shows how much of today’s limit it has used.
Who gets them
Section titled “Who gets them”- Personal projects: you.
- Team projects: the team’s owner and admins, since they’re the ones who can change the plan or the endpoint’s rate limit.
Instant mocks that haven’t been claimed into an account don’t send notifications.
Reading and dismissing
Section titled “Reading and dismissing”Unread alerts show as a count on the bell. Click an alert to open the project it’s about; that also marks it read. You can mark an alert read or unread with the dot beside it, dismiss it with ✕, or clear the count with Mark all read. Notifications are kept for 30 days.
